Jay Kim practices in the field of real estate and commercial litigation. Mr. Kim received his Juris Doctor from St. John's University School of Law in 2000, as the recipient of the Sir Thomas More full-tuition scholarship, and his Bachelor of Arts from Cornell University in 1997. Mr. Kim is admitted to practice law in the State Courts of New York, as well as the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. Mr. Kim was formerly associated with Silverman Perlstein & Acampora LLP, where he specialized in commercial litigation, representing private and institutional lenders, and bankruptcy litigation, representing trustees, with a concentration in prosecution of avoidance proceedings. Mr. Kim currently represents private and commercial landowners, commercial entities, condominium corporations and individuals in all phases of real estate and commercial litigation, including real property transactions, purchases and sales of businesses, commercial contract disputes and landlord-tenant litigation.
